The Magic Garden - spring 2017
After several months I have visited the garden of my parents in Staňkov, where I have taken the photos of my long term photocycle The Magic Garden since 2010. I try to keep the cycle homogeneous, so I have used an analogical way how to expose the pictures; the results differ only according to the season and current lighting conditions.
So, I invite you to see my "Magic Garden" again, this time in the spring with trees in blossom and in the early evening sun, which rarely and unwillingly peeked out from the dense and heavy clouds.
Spring warm days at the turn of March and April caused that the gold forsythia burst into blossom, so I had good object for my photoexperimentation with colors. A "Golden ruffling", isn´t it?
My favorite garden photoobject - the cherry tree - is just in full bloom so we will see it today on several pictures. The blue islands on the sky were set out across the dense branches of the tree.
On the following picture, I wanted to make visible a current of light undulating via the cherry tree branches. Why the light should go straight forward always? I like when it makes beautiful curves as an advance figure skater :-).
The color range is completed by following photo of a bush with pinkish red flowers.
Slightly less coloured: Cherry "Dusky Variations".
The bush at the following picture made a brilliant "career" last year, because a photo of it was on "PF" (the new year's wish) :-). This time, I liked the alternation of light and dark tones, making the picture more plastic. It looks a little bit as if you were flying through some cloud of greenish-yellow or jade matter.
I have added the presented photos - together with several others - into the photogallery of the cycle The Magic Garden, so far with provisional titles.
